Mission: Create an endowment to perpetually honor our Veterans’ gravesites and erect a memorial for those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Memorial Day Veteran Gravesite Remembrance

• Each Veteran’s grave is provided a metal marker/flag holder following his or her passing.
• In 2019, volunteers will place 6,048 flags at Veterans’ grave sites.

Washington County Post-9/11 Veterans· Monument

• Monument to honor Veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom
• Monument design and location are still pending

Walk to Remember our Veterans – Saturday, 25 May 2019

• County Administrator Joshua Schoemann, a Veteran and his wife Jodi Schoemann
• County Clerk Ashley Reichert and her husband Justin Reichert, a Veteran and a member of the Washington County Veteran Service Commission
• The squad of four will ruck approximately 40 miles across Washington County
• The public is invited to walk on the Eisenbahn Trail within West Bend
